Former Mets GM banned for one year for faking injuries

MLB has placed former Mets general manager Billy Eppler on the ineligible list through the end of the 2024 World Series on Friday. Eppler has been under investigation for misusing the ineligible list in 2022 and 2023 since October 2023.
