Four new board members have joined ArchCare at Carmel Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — ArchCare at Carmel Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center has named four new Staten Islanders to its Community Leadership Board.

The board is comprised of members from Staten Island’s business and religious communities and serve in an advisory capacity to represent the interests of the nursing home.

“We are honored to welcome four new Community Leadership Board Members to ArchCare at Carmel Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center,” said Mary Beth Francis, executive director of Carmel Richmond HC & RC. “These esteemed board members bring a wealth of expertise to our board, and as Staten Island residents, they are familiar with the needs of the population we serve. The Carmelite Sisters and the team of Carmel Richmond are grateful for the support that they will bring to our mission as board members.”

They are: Thomas J. Petrone, owner of Petrone Associates, LLC, the largest medical physics consulting practice in the New York metropolitan area.

Maureen Reilly-Kelly, an associate court attorney for the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Richmond County Law Department.

Eva-Marie Cusack, a court attorney referee in Richmond County Surrogate’s Court.

Jean Ringhoff, former vice president and Business Development Officer with Northfield Bank for 14 years until retiring in 2022. She is a 2014 Staten Island Advance Women of Achievement and received the SIEDC Executive Woman of the Year award in 2018.

THOMAS J. PETRONE

Petrone, who holds a doctorate degree, began his career at the former St. Vincent’s Medical Center as the medical physicist. He grew his part-time consulting practice into what is now Petrone Associates. He is active in fundraising for several organizations including the St. George Theatre. He is a founding member of the National Diagnostic Medical Physics Coalition. And he continues to pursue his love for tennis and music.
