Freeze Warning: Low temperatures expected on Staten Island Tuesday; “wet and windy” across NYC

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The National Weather Service has issued a “freeze warning” for Staten Island as temperatures are forecast to drop “as low as 30 degrees” Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning.

A travel advisory also is in effect as officials warn of “wet and windy conditions” across New York City during that same time period, according to public service announcement sent out Monday by the New York City Emergency Management Department.
