Daniel Jones will undergo surgery to repair his torn ACL on Wednesday, the Giants quarterback told Kay Adams on the ‘Up&Adams’ Show on Tuesday.
Jones told Adams that the surgery will be in New York.
“Now’s the best time for it,” Jones said. “And I’ve got a lot of football to watch while I’m laid up for it, so looking forward to that.”
Jones went down with the season-ending ACL injury in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
He also missed three games with a neck injury before hurting his knee in his first game back earlier this month. The 26-year-old has thrown just two touchdowns and six interceptions in six games this year.
The Giants selected Jones with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 draft and this past offseason signed him to a four-year, $160 million contract after a successful 2022 campaign. Last season, he was 317-of-472 for 3,205 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions.
