The TLC family series “1000-lb Sisters” will air its season five finale on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
In the episode, Tammy Slaton will mourn the death of her husband Caleb. As she progressed dramatically in her weight-loss journey, Tammy left the rehabilitation facility where she met Caleb and moved home, as pictured at the start of the season.
Throughout the season, Tammy has been pictured struggling with her guilt as Caleb has continued to battle his health issues at the rehab center.
Tragically, Caleb died at the facility in 2023 at age 40.
In a preview clip, People recently reported that Amy Slaton says about sister Tammy in the finale, “She doesn’t know how to process grief like a normal human being. We were told to push our feelings down, not to embrace them. So, she’s just trying to manage the way she can.”
