“Everyone Else Burns” is airing on American TV for the first time, and it’s ready to premiere Thursday, Oct. 26 from 9:30 to 10 p.m. ET/PT on the CW channel. New episodes will air in this time slot on Thursdays.
The unique comedy, centered around the Lewis family, previously aired in the UK. Variety reported that CW picked it up as part of a save-the-season effort following the writer’s strike, and the network has already signed on for season two.
The show “is a brilliant and bitingly funny series that is as much about family as it is about the end of days,” commented Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment for CW Network. He added, “There is truly no other comedy on television like it, and we are thrilled to work alongside the immensely talented writers and producers to bring the uniquely hilarious Lewis family to The CW for another season.”
