The Monsignor Farrell JV Lions improved to 7-1 and closed out the regular season with a 38-7 victory over Kellenberg Memorial last weekend in CHSFL AAA action.
The Lions received an opening round bye and will host the AAA semifinals on Nov. 11 against the winner of this weekend’s matchup between Cardinal Hayes and Kellenberg.
Running back Kevin Gumb (12 carries for 157 yards) scored on runs of 47 and 31 yards, while QB Biagio D’Aquino (11-for-12, 147 yards passing) added a 16-yard scoring scamper.
