HS Sports Notebook: Farrell runners excel, rank among state’s best on the track; Tottenville golf team bound for city championship match

The Monsignor Farrell varsity 4x800m relay team placed second overall this week in the “Warwick Fast Times Relays.” The Lions’ time of 7:56.62 is over a second under the Nationals qualifying standard of 7:58.24 and currently ranks No. 6 overall in New York State.

The relay was comprised of senior runners Mike Mason, Alphonse Trapanese, Nick Barbaro, and Joe Logan.
