HS track and field: Three Island records set at Loucks Games

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Samantha Walz of St. Joseph by-the-Sea and Katleyn Kliesch of Notre Dame Academy once again put their names in the Island record books with brilliant performances at the 55th annual Glenn D. Loucks Games.

Walz, a newcomer to track and field this year, set two Island marks in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, while Kliesch erased the 800-meter standard with a scintillating performance.
