STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— It is possible that Marian Bellucci battled her own, horrifying demise for “minutes” after sustaining multiple stab wounds at the hands of her adult son inside their upscale home on the borough’s South Shore, according to witness testimony heard Tuesday in state Supreme Court, St. George.
Dr. Kristin Roman — a former pathologist with the office of the city’s chief medical examiner — walked jurors through her examination of Marian and her husband, Arthur Bellucci, who both were discovered stabbed to death by family and police performing a wellness check at the residence on the evening of Oct. 13, 2010.
