Knicks blow out Raptors in return of Barrett, Quickley: ‘New York should be extremely proud of them’

The night began with R.J. Barrett running up to hug Julius Randle during pre-game warm-ups and ended with Barrett hugging many of his former teammates and hearing “Love you” from Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau.

In between, Barrett and Immanuel Quickley made their first appearance at Madison Square Garden as Toronto Raptors since the blockbuster trade for OG Anunoby on New Year’s Eve. They were introduced to loud applause by the Garden crowd and given a video tribute by the Knicks.
