The Knicks won their sixth straight and improved to 12-2 since the OG Anunoby trade, but lost star forward Julius Randle to an apparent shoulder injury.
Randle exited the game in pain in the fourth quarter after falling to the floor awkwardly following an offensive move near the basket where he collided with forward Jaime Jaquez in the Knicksโ 125-109 victory over the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden.
Randle had 19 points and 9 rebounds before the injury.
Jalen Brunson went for 32 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds, notching 30 points for the sixth time in seven games and heard โMVPโ chants from the crowd before he exited. He is expected to be named an All-Star reserve after he was snubbed as a starter this week.
The Knicksโ 12 wins in January are the most in any month since March of 2013.
The Heat have lost six in a row.
