Ryan Torres led a balanced attack with two hits (2B) and two RBI and also did a solid job on the mound to lead Great Kills to a 10-2 Little League District 24 10s All-Star Baseball Tournament play-in triumph over visiting Staten Island on Monday.
No. 4 Great Kills, which also received two singles and two RBI from Brayden Lajka, earned a spot in Thursdayโs semifinals and will meet top-seeded South Shore in Tottenville beginning at 8 p.m.
