South Shore continued its run of dominance with its third consecutive win to kick off pool play, while Great Kills joined the winner’s column on Thursday and improved to 1-1. SS claimed a 10-0 win over Snug Harbor and has outscored opponents by a combined 36-0 margin thus far, with all of its wins coming via mercy decisions.
Great Kills, meanwhile, outlasted Staten Island in a 14-12 slugfest to tally its first ‘W’.
South Shore next visits Mid-Island on Saturday night, while Staten Island will visit Snug Harbor that night. Great Kills will host Snug Harbor on Monday.
