South Shore is picking up right where it left off. The Tottenville loop, which went 5-0 in District 24 10-year-old All-Star softball play en route to capturing the Staten Island crown last week, is off to a hot start in the Section 3 South tournament.
SSLL claimed a 15-0, three-inning mercy victory over visiting Downtown LL in Monday’s opening game. South Shore has won all but one game thus far by mercy counts — the lone exception being a 9-0 win over Snug Harbor in the District 24 championship contest.
