Long Island man imprudently calls police to his secret ‘Breaking Bad’-style meth lab: Report

A Long Island man pleaded guilty to unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine on Friday after authorities said they discovered a meth-making operation that rivaled that of Walter White in “Breaking Bad,” CBS News reported.

According to authorities, on June 7, 2023, Matthew Leshinsky, 23, of Farmingville, dialed 911 to report a burglary at his business, Quantitative Laboratories LLC. When Suffolk County police officers arrived, they discovered a secret lab that was used to allegedly make methamphetamine and dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, the report said.
