Massive steaks, rescuing dogs and hidden talents: Devils dads share stories of son’s NHL journeys

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Devils put on a show for their dads.

Seated in Suite 27 at Nationwide Arena Saturday night, 17 dads and relatives of Devils players watched their sons steamroll the Columbus Blue Jackets, 6-3 – a fitting send off for the annual dad’s trip. After the game, coach Lindy Ruff said his team clearly showed out with their mentors watching from above.
