STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Looking for a career change or want to earn a little extra cash before Christmas? Amazon is making an intense hiring push for the holidays, seeking some 250,000 new employees for both full-time and part-time work.
“The holiday season is always a special time at Amazon, and we’re excited to hire 250,000 additional people this year to help serve customers across the country,” John Felton, Amazon’s senior vice president of Worldwide Operations, noted in a press release.
