STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A lucky lottery player won $1 million with a second-prize Powerball ticket purchased in New York City.
The New York Lottery announced that the Powerball ticket was purchased at Skyview Newsstand, located at 4024 College Point Blvd. in Flushing, Queens, for Monday’s drawing. It had five matching numbers.
The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing are white balls 4, 6, 25, 55, and 68, and red Powerball 26.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer for $2, seven days a week. The deadline for purchasing a ticket is 10 p.m. on draw nights.
Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.
