Patrick Smith of Onandaga County claimed a top prize for the “$10,000 A Week For Life” scratch-off game, taking a one-time payment of $4,280,973. The game has a minimum payout of $10 million.
The North Syracuse based winner purchased the ticket at Circle K located at 4835 State Route 365 in Oneida, N.Y.
At the time of this winning, there were there were two top prizes remaining on the “$10,000 A Week For Life” ticket, and their statuses – along with any any New York Lottery Scratch-off game – can be checked using the website.
New York’s scratch-off games generated $4,406,338,198 in total sales during fiscal year 2022-2023, according to the New York Lottery. School districts in Onondaga County received $150,386,374 in lottery aid to education funds during the same period.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.7 billion in fiscal year 2022-2023 to help support education in New York State.
