STATEN ISLAND. N.Y. – NYC Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue, alongside Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella, Councilmembers Kamillah Hanks and Joe Borelli, commemorated two significant capital projects aimed at enhancing amenities within Staten Island parks.
At Lopez Playground, located on Targee Street, a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiled a novel public restroom building, part of a pilot program utilizing modular construction for fully accessible and vandal-resistant facilities.
