NYC weather: Warmer temps and wet conditions expected during upcoming work week

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With snow in the rearview at least for the time being, temperatures are predicted to perk up a bit over the next few days as we head into the workweek.

Tonight, things will remain nippy with a low of around 32 degrees and a 20% chance of rain possibly after 4 a.m.

Monday kicks things off mostly cloudy, before gradually transitioning into sunshine with a high hovering around 53 degrees.

Tomorrow night is expected to remain partly cloudy with a low of 38 degrees and a wind speed of 5 mph.

Tuesday we’re looking at the potential for showers after 1 p.m., while the day days with it a high of 55 degrees.

Tuesday night however, we’ll see some with a low around 49 degrees.

Wednesday is expected to be wet yet again with showers appearing possibly before 1 p.m. and then another chance of showers possibly after 1 p.m. with a temperature near 61 degrees and breezy.

Wednesday night will see showers, which are expected to make an appearance along with a low of 35 degrees.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 45, while things dip down at night to a low of 29 degrees.

To round out the week, Friday will be sunny with a high near 44 degrees. And as we head into the evening hours, temperatures are expected to fall to about 35 degrees.
