NYPD: Armed home invasion reported on Staten Island; victim dragged out of house

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Several individuals allegedly broke into a residence in Stapleton and dragged a man out of the house, according to police.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday at a home on the 200 block of Targee Street, according to a spokeswoman for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, told police that three men wearing all black entered his home displaying a firearm and a knife before dragging him from the residence, police said.

The three men allegedly got into a black sedan that fled westbound on Young Street, police said.

No injuries were reported, and no property was removed from the home, the spokeswoman said.

There are no suspects and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
