NYPD: Man arrested after subway attack left 29-year-old woman’s feet severed by train

A man has been arrested and faces several charges following a horrific incident in which he allegedly pushed his girlfriend onto New York City subway tracks, leading to both of her feet being severed, ABC News is reporting.

Christian Valdez, 35, was captured and arrested at 9:30 p.m. at the Fulton Street subway station, around 11 hours after the attack, the report said.

Valdez has been charged with attempted murder and felony assault, the report said.
