NYPD seeks 2 individuals for questioning in connection to Port Richmond robbery

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance locating two individuals sought for questioning in connection to a robbery in Port Richmond.

On Aug. 1, at around 9:02 a.m., two unknown individuals approached a 36-year-old female victim in the vicinity of Blackford Avenue and Treadwell Avenue.

One of the individuals forcibly removed the victim’s purse, which contained an unknown sum of currency, and then threw her to the ground, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The individuals then fled in the direction of Port Richmond Avenue. The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
