NYPD seeks man for questioning in North Shore robbery

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual sought for questioning in connection to an alleged robbery in Stapleton.

On Friday, Aug. 18, at approximately 4:45 p.m. in the vicinity of 490 Bay St., it was reported that an unknown male approached a 46-year-old female victim. The unidentified individual allegedly pushed the victim to the floor and forcibly removed approximately $80.

The individual fled northbound on Bay Street, while the female victim sustained minor injuries and was treated by EMS on scene.

The individual is described as a male with dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a mask, black shirt, green pants and a dark colored du-rag.
