Paving, milling planned for Staten Island streets next week

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Department of Transportation will be paving and milling streets throughout Staten Island next week.

The work will cause temporary road closures and delays throughout the borough. All work is subject to weather and emergency road repairs.

Crews will be active Monday, Aug. 21, through Friday, Aug. 25.

Here is the schedule for next week.

Monday:

Paving (night): Richmond Avenue between Willow Road West and Morningstar Road; Richmond Avenue between Forest Avenue and Monsey Place

Milling (day): Amelia Court between Bard Avenue and Kissel Avenue; Livingston Court between Arlington Court and Bard Avenue; Rokeby Place between Bard Avenue and Kissel Avenue; Moody Place between Bard Avenue and Kissel Avenue; North Mada Avenue from Castleton Avenue to Forest Avenue; Dekay Street between Bard Avenue and Davis Avenue, Regan Avenue and Captain J Fischer Way; Wentworth Avenue between Dead End and Olympia Boulevard

Tuesday:

Paving (night): Richmond Avenue between Forest Avenue and Monsey Place; Barrett Avenue between Cornell Street and Forest Avenue

Milling (day): Dekay Street between Bard Avenue and Davis Avenue, Regan Avenue and Captain J Fischer Way; North Randall Avenue between Penbroke Avenue and Castleton Avenue; Valencia Avenue from North Randall Avenue to Conyingham Avenue; Grace Court between Dead End and Henderson Avenue; Cortelyou Place between Kirby Court and lafayette Avenue; Kirby Court between Henderson Avenue and Dead End; Beechwood Avenue between Cleveland Street and Dead End; Cleveland Street between Beechwood Avenue and Westervelt Avenue; Andrews Street between Olympia Boulevard and Quincy Avenue

Wednesday:

Paving (night): Barrett Avenue between Cornell Street and Forest Avenue; Monsey Place from Richmond Avenue to Sanders Street
