STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in front of a New Brighton residence Thursday night.
According to a NYPD spokesman, a 25-year-old a man was shot in the foot around 9 p.m. in the vicinity of York Avenue and Jersey Street.
The victim was transported in stable condition to Richmond University Medical Center, West Brighton, the spokesman said.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
