STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — About three dozen demonstrators took to the doorstep of Councilwoman Kamillah Hanks’ office in St. George to urge her to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The protestors lined the sidewalk Friday afternoon, with a large NYPD presence overseeing the assembly.
