Rutgers QB Gavin Wimsatt’s passing is improved. He explains why

Through two games, Gavin Wimsatt has shown major improvement in the two areas that plagued him most last season.

In wins over Northwestern and Temple, the Rutgers quarterback has thrown for 361 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while completing 54% (27-of-50) of his passes. That completion percentage ranks 74th out of the 84 FBS quarterbacks who have attempted at least 50 passes this season, per ProFootballFocus, but it is a significant improvement from the 44.8% rate he completed passes last year, which was among the lowest in college football.
