Bloochy Valbrun netted 30 points to lead Engine 153/Ladder 77 to its sixth straight S.I. Firefighter March Madness Tournament with a 62-46 victory over Engine 155/Ladder 78 Monday at the CYO-MIV in Pleasant Plains.
For his efforts, Valbrun notched the Firefighter Mike Fiore MVP Award in the 34th annual event, which ran for 12 straight hours and featured more than 150 firefighters from the FDNY.
