STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Every year, Starbucks hosts its Red Cup Day — offering a free and limited-edition reusable cup to customers who order a holiday beverage.
It’s one of the most popular days of the year, as the coffee giant encourages its customers to try a drink from its holiday beverage lineup. According to rumors online, the annual cup day this year is slated for Thursday, Nov. 16.
Starbucks hasn’t confirmed or released the date just yet — but the annual promotion typically falls on the third Thursday in November every year.
The offer is good on any handcrafted holiday beverage (hot, iced, or blended) at participating stores. In return, you will receive a free, 16-ounce reusable limited-edition red cup. It’s available however you order, including mobile order and pickup, curbside pickup, and through delivery on Uber Eats. It’s important to note that quantities of these cups are usually limited, and they are only available while supplies last.
Starbucks hasn’t yet released its holiday beverage lineup, which could be expected in early November after Halloween.
Last year’s Red Cup Day was held on Thursday, Nov. 17.
