Qadir Martin scored a game-high 17 points and St. Peter’s raced to an early double-digit lead and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 60-39 CHSAA AA victory over host Mount St. Michael Saturday in the Bronx.
Martin also finished with game highs in rebounds (11) and blocks (seven) as the Eagles enter the holiday break with a 7-2 record overall, including 2-2 in the league. Jorel Monroe (12 points, six rebounds), Jalen Munson (10 points, five rebounds, five assists), Michael Spisto (nine points, 11 assists, six rebounds) and Talib Martin (eight points) also turned in solid performances for the New Brighton school.
