Doesn’t it seem like Thanksgiving Eve was yesterday?
The 2023-24 high school basketball season, in actuality, went by at the speed of light as the last Staten Island team played its final game on Tuesday.
Twenty-four Islanders displayed the consistent ability to score this past season as evidenced by the fact they finished with double-digit scoring averages.
Five of those scorers averaged over 20 points a game while the Island’s leading scorer nearly tallied a whopping 800 points over the course of the last four months. The junior, by the way, was also first on the Island with 24 games of 20-or-more points and he also had the single-game high this season after pouring in 45 markers in one game.
Only four of the top 24 scorers finished in double digits in each of their respective games this season.
Think you know who made the grade on this impressive list? Scroll down to find out who the Island’s top 24 scorers were for the 2023-24 campaign.
