Staten Island HS boys’ hoops: It’s tourney time — the SIHSL releases the varsity seedings for its 30th annual tournament

The Staten Island High School League released the varsity seedings for the Borough President Vito Fossella SIHSL Tournament during a ‘Sit-down Sunday’ announcement at Jody’s Club Forest in West Brighton.

SIHSL president Charlie Donohue, who is also McKee/Staten Island Tech’s varsity hoops coach, announced the seedings via Nobody Cares Sports Network. For the second straight year, the league didn’t use a formal regular season to produce the seedings but, instead, organized a committee that determined the rankings for each of the SIHSL’s 14 members.
