Senior Charles Steele poured in a game-high 33 points, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s balanced attack had the final say during a 71-68 non-league, overtime victory over the host Panthers Friday in Sunnyside.
Petrides, which also received offensive contributions from Jaden Allyson (11 points) and Shadrach Akakeya (10 points), dropped to 17-8 overall and will now direct its attention toward next week’s PSAL A division city playoffs.
