Staten Island man who pleaded in 6 arrests may lose leg to flesh-eating disease: Lawyer

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Prison may not be the worst case scenario for a Staten Island man who in 2019 pleaded guilty to a slew of criminal charges.

Antonio Sendra, then 49, of New Brighton, admitted that year to a felony drug count and possession of a weapon in state Supreme Court, St. George, along with lesser drug possession and unlicensed driving charges spanning six arrests dating back to 2018.
