Target teams up with this famed designer to create ‘affordable’ spring fashion

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — When Diane von Furstenberg first created the wrap dress in 1974, the long-sleeved silk jersey statement piece changed the course of fashion. Classic and iconic, it was a modern look that defined a decade. Within two years, she sold millions of the dresses and created a retail phenomenon.

Fifty years later, DVF is reinventing, joining forces with her granddaughter, Talita von Furstenberg, and launching an affordable version of her famed brand at Target.
