Craig Carton is leaving WFAN, according to Andrew Marchand of The New York Post.
Carton — who spent time in prison on a fraud conviction linked to a gambling addiction — returned to WFAN nearly three years ago, joining co-host Evan Roberts, who recently made headlines by ripping Mets aces Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander, as a popular afternoon drive duo.

Last September, FS1 jumped on the Carton bandwagon and gave him a morning show called “The Carton Show.”

HBO recently aired a documentary about his rise and fall.
Carton, who was a shock jock at NJ 101.5 before landing the WFAN gig with Esiason, returned to WFAN in November of 2020, three years after he resigned from the station following his arrest.
