The Robert Kelly Memorial Softball League recently announced its second class for its Hall of Fame, and unlike the initial year when more than 20 players, umpires and league officials were inducted, this yearโ€™s class consists of 10 members.

The 2023 Hall of Fame Inductees are Vin Demetrio (Alexa Rose), Gordon Rugg (Donatoโ€™s), Frank Longo (Padres), Tony Perez (Wโ€™s), Larry Merrill (Donatoโ€™s), Mike โ€œSkipโ€ Cassieri (Stream Team), Frank Mattioli (Padres), Craig Longo (L&P Tree), John Lagrua (G&J Collision) and Sal Taormina (JRโ€™s).

โ€œAll the players are most deserving,โ€ said Robert Kelly League president Phil Bracco. โ€œThereโ€™s a good mice of players in there, with a lot coming from the early days of the league. Our first year dates back to 1987.โ€

Alexa Rose, which is managed by Mike Russo, finished with a 9-3 mark, while USC, managed by Marty Costello, was 7-5. Alexa Rose won both its regular-season games vs. USC.
