Triple shooting in New Jersey leaves one man dead, woman and child injured; per report

A shooting in New Jersey left one man dead and a woman and young child injured, according to a report.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 26, at around 8:30 p.m., NJ.com reported.

Police responded to Salem Avenue in Elizabeth at about 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports that multiple victims were shot. Officers located a vehicle in the area with three victims inside.

Authorities previously said the incident was a drive-by shooting.

Guerley Edouard, 28, of Roselle, was pronounced dead at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, according to Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel.

The other two victims, a 23-year-old woman and a three-year-old girl, are currently listed in stable condition, according to the report.
