Wednesday, the Chiefs will head to downtown Kansas City to celebrate their Super Bowl win for the second year in a row.
A big question, of course, is whether Taylor Swift will be in attendance for the celebration. Swift was in Las Vegas to watch Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, her boyfriend, win Super Bowl LVIII. Plus, the parade is being held on Valentines day. But it’s unclear if the singer will be able to make it, as her “Eras Tour” resumes on Friday in Melbourne, Australia.

“That’s gonna be a whole second level of security issues that we have to deal with — the crowds and all that sort of thing,” Kansas City Manager Brian Platt said, via KCUR’s Up To Date . “So we are more than ready. We have no concerns with our safety protocols and what we’re doing to make sure that the route will be free of any issues.”
According to KCUR, Platt “hinted that city officials may have already told Swift’s team that her presence at the parade may be too much for the city’s security to handle on its own.”
“I can’t confirm or deny but we might have already told that to her team, just to keep everybody safe and make things a little bit easier for us,” he said.
The parade is set to begin at 11 a.m. and there will be a victory rally at it’s conclusion (around 12:45 p.m.).
