STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to locate a 61-year-old woman reported missing from her home in Annadale.
Maria Vella most recently was seen leaving her residence in the vicinity of Woodrow Road and Arden Avenue on Jan. 8 around 6 p.m., according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
Police described the missing woman as standing about 5′3″ tall and weighing about 165 pounds, with a light complexion. She was seen wearing a burgundy-colored three-quarter-length coat, a burgundy-colored knit hat, blue jeans, and a gold ring with a green stone.
The photo of the missing woman was supplied to the media by the NYPD.
