Woman’s NYC high-rise suicide was allegedly due to fight with husband: Report

A woman who jumped to her death from the 36th story of an Upper East Side apartment building Thursday allegedly fought with her husband minutes before the fatal plunge,” the New York Post is reporting.

Alina Page, 35, jumped from the roof of The Brittany, a luxury building known for breathtaking views of the East and Harlem rivers, after her spouse confronted her about her drinking habits, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Brian Page, the woman’s husband, said “he wasn’t even home” when the tragedy occurred, but wouldn’t say whether the incident was precipitated by a fight, the report said.

The mother of two was found with on the corner of York Avenue and East 92nd Street around 6:45 p.m. with injuries that would be considered consistent with a fall, the report said.
