Renowned lawyer RoseAnn Branda, an Executive Partner at Abrams Fensterman and co-director of the firm’s family and matrimonial law department, has been recognized by Crain’s as one of 2023’s Notable Women in Law.

This highly prestigious list acknowledges the leading female attorneys in New York who are not only excelling in their respective areas of law but are also leveraging the law to promote fairness and provide assistance. The list covers various legal areas, from labor and employment to real estate and intellectual property. RoseAnn Branda has enjoyed a sterling career, marked by nearly 40 years of tireless dedication to law practice. Branda’s noteworthy achievements include working on a pioneering online consensual divorce program aimed at helping low-income New Yorkers. She has also dedicated her time to serving as a representative of the Second District on the executive committee of the family law section of the New York State Bar Association. Further, she has recently collaborated with Mayor Eric Adams’ Advisory Committee on the Judiciary.

Beyond her legal accomplishments, Branda is deeply invested in mentorship. Over the years, she has guided dozens of attorneys, focusing on enhancing their understanding of substantive law areas, honing their organizational skills, and instilling a commitment to ethics.

A graduate of Brooklyn Law School in 1984, Branda began her career at the law firm of Caruso & Caruso, P.C. She swiftly gained recognition for her advocacy and legal prowess, becoming a Partner in the firm of Caruso, Caruso & Branda, P.C., in 1992.
