Police say a man was shot and killed on a Bronx subway early Friday morning, less than two weeks after another Bronx subway shooting left one person dead and several others injured.
NYPD officials say gunfire erupted on a southbound D train around 5 a.m. as it pulled into the station at 182nd Street and Grand Concourse in Fordham Heights.
First responders found a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said they’re looking for three men in black clothing who ran from the train in an unknown direction.
The victimโs identity has not yet been released as police work to notify his family.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
