    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a report in February that showed an increase in teenagers struggling with their mental health, and the American Academy of Pediatrics has declared mental health challenges for teens a “national emergency.” Lisa Damour, psychologist, co-host of the podcast โ€œAsk Lisa: The Psychology of Parenting” and author of several books, including The Emotional Lives of Teenagers: Raising Connected, Capable, and Compassionate Adolescentย (Ballantine Books, 2023), shares coping strategies and talks about when parents and teenagers should seek help.
    Simone Stolzoff, journalist and the author of The Good Enough Job: Reclaiming Life from Work (Portfolio, 2023), argues for reframing how Americans see work.
