Brooklyn girl, 4, hospitalized after falling from three-story window: police

A 4-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital Saturday after a frightening fall from a third-story window in Brooklyn, cops said.

First responders raced to Madison St. near Nostrand Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 8:45 a.m. and found the child crumpled on the concrete outside the building, cops said.

She was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center with a broken femur and hip, but was expected to survive, a police source with knowledge of the case said.

Police said the child was looking out an open window when she tumbled out. The incident does not appear to be suspicious.

There was no window guard on the window, cops said.

The childโ€™s parents were both home at the time the child fell.
