A fiend in a hoodie and baseball cap sexually abused a stranger walking down a Queens street before the victim bravely fought him off, police said Sunday.
Cops released surveillance footage of the suspect and are asking the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.
The 20-year-old victim was walking near 27th St. and 30th Ave. in Astoria just before 2 p.m. Saturday when the stranger approached her and reached his hand into her shorts, groping her private area, cops said.
He pushed her up against a fence but when she fought back he fled, cops said.
Cops describe the suspect as about 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black baseball hat, gray shorts, black sneakers and a red backpack.
