A heartless dad swiped his 4-year-old son from the child’s mother following a meetup in the Bronx — dragging the panicked woman for several feet as he sped away with the child on his scooter, cops said Tuesday.
Cops are currently hunting for Makiel Yoan Turbi, 22, who was last seen with his son Yoangel Sepulveda at the corner of E. 182nd St. and Jerome Ave. in University Heights on Sunday.
Yoangel’s mother is in an ongoing custody fight with Turbi over their child, cops said.
She and Yoangel had met up with Turbi at about 9:15 p.m. when the dad grabbed the tot, placed his son on his scooter and tried to speed off with him.
The mom grabbed the scooter to try to stop Turbi and was dragged for several feet before letting go, cops said.
The woman was not seriously injured.
Turbi fled with the child and hasn’t been seen since, said police, who on Tuesday released images of Turbi and Yoangel as they ask the public for help in their search.
